Custom 3D-printed jigs & fixtures
Assembly jigs, drill guides, alignment and locating fixtures, soft jaws, and gauges — printed to your design for repeatable work, with optional version and tool-ID marking to keep revisions straight on the floor.
What we print
Assembly and welding jigs, drill and router guides, alignment and locating fixtures, soft jaws and work-holding, go/no-go gauges, bending and forming aids, and packaging or inspection fixtures. You upload the model and we print it to your design.
Choosing a material
Fixtures generally want rigidity and dimensional stability:
- ABS and ASA — rigid and heat-tolerant, a good fit for fixtures that see warmth or need to hold their shape.
- PETG — tough and forgiving for general assembly aids and guides.
- For high-wear contact points, design in replaceable inserts or metal hardware rather than relying on the plastic surface.
The PETG vs ABS vs ASA guide compares them, and the material finder can recommend one for your case.
Repeatability and revision control
A fixture is only useful if everyone is using the current version. A permanent laser mark — a version number, tool ID, or QR code — keeps revisions from being confused on the bench, and for a set of fixtures the IDs can increment automatically. See serialized parts & traceability for how that works.
Tolerances
Parts hold a typical tolerance of about ±0.2–0.3 mm, which suits most alignment, assembly, and drill-guide work. For locating features that need tighter control, note the requirement on your order and we will confirm we can meet it before production. The build size is 256 × 256 × 260 mm; the order tool flags anything larger. No model? Our 3D scanning service can recreate an existing fixture.
