3D printing for hardware startups
Move from prototype to product without tooling costs or minimums. Iterate fast, produce early units in small batches, and serialize them from day one — all from one shop, with the part and process unchanged as you scale.
Prototype, then produce — same shop
Early hardware lives or dies on iteration speed. Print a prototype, refine it, and when the design settles, move straight into low-volume production of the same part — no mold, no tooling bill, no minimum order. That keeps your cash in the product instead of in upfront tooling while volumes are still small.
Materials as you scale
Use low-cost PLA for early form and fit work, then choose an end-use material for production: PETG for tough everyday parts, ABS for heat and strength, or ASA for anything outdoors. The material guides and finder help you pick, and the design guidelines help your parts print cleanly the first time.
Enclosures and serialized units
Most hardware needs a housing — see custom enclosures for device and sensor housings with the cutouts and mounts built in. And from your first batch, units can carry serial numbers, QR codes, or part IDs laser-marked in, so beta tracking, warranty, and traceability are in place before you need them.
Your designs stay yours
